Integrations / Slack
Slack
Get instant Slack notifications when someone signs up for your events.
Overview
Eventlink's Slack integration brings new sign-ups directly into your team channels. Set it up once per event, pick your channel, and watch the notifications roll in. No more checking dashboards to see if registrations are coming in.
When someone registers, you'll know instantly. Your team stays in the loop, energy builds, and everyone can celebrate wins as they happen.
How it works
Connect your Slack workspace once, then configure notifications per event. This gives you complete control over which teams see which updates.
Someone fills out your registration form and hits submit. Within seconds, a rich notification appears in your chosen Slack channel showing:
Welcome message with the registrant's name
Their email address and registration timestamp
Event and workspace details
Quick actions to reply or view full event details
Configure
1
Connect Slack
In your Eventlink workspace, go to Integrations → Slack → Install app. You'll authorize the connection in Slack, then you're back to Eventlink. Takes about 30 seconds.
2
Set up notifications
New events: During event creation, find Notifications → toggle on Slack → select your channel.
3
Test it out
Use "Send test notification" in your event settings before going live. Your team will see what to expect and you'll catch any permission issues early.
Managing notifications
Each event has its own Slack settings. Want to change channels? Edit your event settings and pick a new one. Need to disconnect entirely? Go to Integrations → Slack → Disconnect.
Troubleshooting: Not getting notifications? Check that Eventlink can post in your channel. For private channels, type /invite @eventlink
in the channel first.
